Worked on deadline this week. Editor was out of town so I had to star even before I got approval for the drawing. Unfortunately that meant changes. So the cartoon became an exercise in how to save a days worth of work.
Sketch for next week’s cartoon. Still a bit heavy handed. But I’ve got a few days to work out the ship name and decide if I’m throwing in Rocky.

Knocked out a couple sketches this morning. I like the quality of them and think these two toons will look pretty good. No easter eggs in them yet. Later if I have time.

Well I completely forgot to post the finished piece for this. If you scroll down you can see the inks. I added antennas to all the cars in Photoshop, but I’m not certain it makes them look like bugs. However cropping tighter gave it a more crowded feel, which is nice.
